Step Seven: This Is Awesome!
You did it! You finally accomplished the goals you set for yourself and made your ideas a reality! Now it is time to celebrate and take it all in. Whether you finally finished writing your script, your structure finally held weight, or your robot took its first steps, make sure to take in the moment and reflect on the journey you have taken!
I experienced this part of the Creative Wave in many ways, big and small throughout my DI journey. From the time when my team's self playing xylophone played its first note, to when the "water boxes" reliably held water, to when our team name was called to go to Globals for the first time, I experienced many moments of "victory" throughout my DI experience. I am grateful for these moments, not necessarily because they are when I learned the most, but because they are the moments that made the whole experience worth it, as I stood hand in hand with my teammates celebrating our accomplishments.
