Step Six: This Might Be Okay

Now that you have overcome the challenges of discouragement and self doubt, it is time to charge ahead and make your idea a reality!  This is one of the most exciting stages because you can finally watch your idea become a reality and all of your hard work pay off.  Use these tips to help ensure that your concept can grow into an important quality part of your team's solution.  

This is another one of my favorite parts of the DI process.  I vividly remember coming out of the discouraged stage of the Creative Wave to move forward when I was working on a technical flower backdrop for the In Plain Sight Challenge in 2016.  After weeks of designing, and attempting various technical methods, my team finally had a breakthrough and got a flower to successfully "wilt" and "regrow."
