Step Three: This Is Tricky

Now that you've thought through all of the ins and outs of your idea, you may be feeling a little stuck.  "How will I fix this problem?  How could I integrate this aspect?"  But don't despair.  This is a natural and healthy part of the Creative Process.  Without ever struggling to overcome obstacles, our ideas would never grow and become better.  After all, if it was easy, everyone would do it.     

After hours and hours of paper mache work on a roller coaster-like track for our solution to the Making Waves Scientific Challenge in 2015, my team and I stood eager to test it out.  Much to our despair, as we let the cart go, it flew wildly off the track,  dashing our hopes of finishing the element easily that day.  For days and days we tried various solutions to the problem, most to no avail.  These times were especially difficult to persevere through, but ultimately they were also the ones that I learned the most from.
